—The Collector is a three—part project

which explores the value of personal

collections in evoking both personal and

cultural memories of life in Ireland.
Through personal narratives, it seeks to express the multifaceted role of print ephemera in preserving and shaping individual recollections of Irish culture and Irish rites of passage.

—The project focuses on ten objects from

my personal collection, recollecting my

personal recollection of the acquisition of the object in a publication format, it also explores the wider cultural narratives which arise from these objects in a larger publication, merging the idea of personal and collective memory.
